Last week I had the pleasure of attending the DXV Design Summit where the inaugural panel (mine), last years panel, and the current panel meet all together with the brand and product leaders of DXV. It was great to catch up with some truly remarkable friendships and you may have noticed a bit of my activity on Instagram while galavanting through New York. I know that I'm lucky but I am grateful to DXV for the experiences of a lifetime.
It is time to reveal the 2016 Design Panel and their designs (pass the torch, if you will) that are inspired by some strong North American cities. Take a look at what these great design professionals came up with for their DXV experiences:
Mid-Century Resort, Palm Springs
Designers Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry are part of DXV's 2016 Design Panel. This year's five designers take inspiration from the enduring design styles that make these cities famous. Beth and Carolina were inspired by the Mid-Century Resort of Palm Springs. 1950s Hollywood glamour meets desert modernism for a leisurely trip through time.
Contemporary Beach, Miami
Designer Genevieve Ghaleb is part of DXV's 2016 Design Panel. This year's five designers take inspiration from the enduring design styles that make these cities famous. Genevieve was inspired by the Contemporary Beach, Miami. Clean lines, refined angles and sensuous curves infuse everyday ritual with intentionality.
The Golden Apple, New York
Designer Richard T Anuszkiewicz is part of DXV's 2016 Design Panel. This year's five designers take inspiration from the enduring design styles that make these cities famous. Richard was inspired by The Golden Apple, New York City. A glorious blend of marble and metal, acrylic and glass, Macassar Ebony wood and ostrich leather.
Southern Classic, Charlston
Designer Susan Jamieson is part of DXV's 2016 Design Panel. This year's five designers take inspiration from the enduring design styles that make these cities famous. Susan was inspired by the Southern Classic, Charleston. The style may be classic, but this room is definitely current. A gracious mix of yesterday and today.
I mean, wow. I thought we had it made 2 years ago but what way to keep stepping it up!
