ABOUT US
Hi, I’m Andrew Luketic 👋
Studio Director
I the Studio Director and Co-Founder at Articulated. You can also call me the “the elastic band”, “cruise ship director”, or more commonly the “project manager” — just for a bit of context.
My area of focus is the design journey of our clients.
As well I am involved in project management, vendor relations, as well as sales and marketing at Articulated Design Studio. I value the creativity of our design team and the craftsmanship that I am a part of at Articulated. As a project manager, I understand that design can be a grey area and I am comfortable working there. The unknowns are subject to my professional viewpoint and that sometimes needs a deeper exploration and longer conversation. I believe that there are ways to invest in local quality that enable the long-term value of a project.
My background is like a quilt with different pieces that connect together for a project. I collect sculptural glass art and ceramics, love colour theory, and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University. There are 15 years of project management with creatives which have given me experience in organisational leadership ( 6 of which were as the President of the BC Glass Arts Association). For over a decade I was a chef in the kitchens of some of Vancouver’s finest restaurants and I appreciate how our ancestors preserved the harvest. My experiences travelling across North America and parts of Europe have fed my lifelong interests in decor and furnishing in a variety of design styles from Rococo to British Art Nouveau to Memphis Modern.
My favourite part is seeing the transformation of a project from a two dimensional design concept into a built environment.
