Our design palettes are a pre-selected interior finish specification package with a built in virtual designer guide. Providing an interactive online design service for your interior design project.
These finishes and materials might not be on the shelves of your local hardware store to touch and feel. Yet each of the materials and finishes we specify are available to order across Canada, and can be purchased through qualified contractors, local dealers, and trade suppliers (including your local hardware store).

Our Client Studio Portal is the backbone of our design studio for all our clients.
Everything happens within our portal, whether you are booking a Design Work Session or downloading project documents and sharing them with your independent contractor; everything happens within the portal.
Regardless if you access your Client Studio Portal by a web browser on your computer or by it’s smart device app for both iOS + Android devices, we keep you connected with all your project details.

As you can see, each design palette is a versatile base you can continue to customise. We provide substitutions that suit your inspiration and budget at a flat rate of $25 CAD.
We have designed our design palette to be comprehensive enough to be used for any room in your home or for an entire house.
So that if you need to re-upholster an heirloom for a living room styling.
You have elegantly coordinated selections ready to choose from.
Selections you can bring to your local upholstery workroom. From quality trade suppliers they could order in.
So they can breath new life into your piece.
*Or say you want to choose a new quartz countertop for the refresh of your great room complete with hardware finish recommendations for the faucets.

Each of our Design Palettes are anchored around just the right white paint colour that works with each collection of paint colours, finishes, and materials.
We are experts with colour. Each combination of finishes and materials has taken time to observe how they perform under a variety of light conditions. As you can see in our inspiration projects each colour and finishes selected are in harmony and balance with each other:
including a simple detail like the hue of white used for the rest of the space.
The benefit of working with our design palettes is that every detail is ready to implement to save you time, including just the right white.
In the design work session we move through the details of your project, suggesting how to position the different colours in your space to create the best impact.

Once purchased, your Design Palette will be ready for you to interact with and/or download from inside our online Client Studio Portal, it is also enabled for both iOS and Android smart devices.
Ahead of scheduling your virtual design work session in the appointments section of this online package. We encourage you to explore the different aspects of each package you have purchased.
We provide you online links to all the residential grade interior finishes and the necessary details for you to use each finish in your own space.
Choosing which finish in the Design Palette is easy. We list the primary and secondary items, where applicable, and our design work session provides you with our expert advice with additional factors and considerations for the space you would like to use it in.
All the finishes can be purchased through your local building supply retailer or they can be ordered by your independent contractor. to quote you in their services for you.
Your design work session is broken into two parts.
Part A: Introduction we review your project goals and personally walk you through the palette details. Coordinating additional accents at a flat rate can be discussed and ordered
Part B: Additional accents or details. After we confirm any add on finishes to customise the palette to your goals. We create your final order and present it to you in a scheduled virtual meeting incorporating how it can be used for the space.
*If you want to use this in multiple spaces in your home we are more than happy to book additional design work sessions.
Typically, ordering a finish from a Design Palette will be done by a special order because you are looking for a non-stock option to make your home special and unique.
How will ordering, shipping, and logistics work with your recommendations?
All the finishes can be purchased through your local building supply retailer or they can be ordered by your independent contractor to quote in their services for you. Our recommendations are available in most major Canadian regions, and distributed across the country.

We can connect you with a brand rep who will direct you to a local dealer from their list of local Canadian suppliers.

Yes, you can!
We have prepared our Design Palettes for you and your independent contractor to use with any of our design services. Purchasing and using a Design Palette with our services offers you outstanding savings on our design fees.

We have worked with most of the top brands available to Canadian projects in the marketplace. Our goal is recommend finishes that will have certification and testing data to provide not only a warranty but ensure the long term viability for a project.
We use the same quality standards ALL our clients, this includes our design palettes. They literally are our designer favourites. The follow are resources for selected materials:

Our design palettes link online to each of our recommended selections. We realise that physical samples are sometimes desired. We do not currently include a set of finish samples with each Design Palette purchase.
We are developing a ship-to-you program based upon your design work session to tailor the samples you will need for your personalised project.
Currently it is a customized Add On service based upon your project needs and prices will vary by shipping locations in Canada. This means the Final Design Palette items we discuss will boxed up and sent to your residential address by Canada Postal services. So it is a customised box based upon your project specifics.
Please note: Any profits other than the costs of fulfilling the delivery will be donated to our annual charitable work with the Tour de Cure. You are only paying for the fulfilment of the delivery service.

Unfortunately, due to several factors (e.g., local market conditions) we are currently unable to list prices and retailers for each interior finish itemized your Design Palettes. We can assure you that the selections are moderately priced, meet verified safety code-compliance standards in Canada, and are backed by quality manufacturers.

From time to time, this situation will eventually occur.
If you purchase a Design Palette and we confirm with the manufacturer that a finish has been discontinued (rather than the retailer not wanting to order the finish) within the first (90) days of purchase, we will replace with an alternate of our choosing at no additional charge.
This does not apply to backordered items.

Let's start by asking: Is it in your best interests to spend your time on a job site or shopping for tile with a client at a retailer?
This is a product/service that will save you, the contractor time, and it can easily be recommended as a service to combine with the professional services you are offering your clients.
This simplifies the product & finish selection journey for your client based upon our independent design expertise and love of colour.
We navigate the product selection process directly with the client. The end result is one finalized product list to order and keeping this process separate from your lane.
Each of the selections we recommend are available to the trade. If you would like we can even facilitate the delivery of the items direct to your local receiving bay or project if it is in our service region.
We recommend you give us ample lead time with the client ahead of the project starting. Some of the products we recommend have a 6-12 week lead time to get to your job site. We can only recommend limited options if you are already putting up the studs.

Yes. We can assist you virtually and swap-out each finish for $25.00 CAD per change (plus 5% G.S.T.). The cost covers the additional time needed to change your Design Palette while researching the availability and performance of each finish.
To request a finish change, simply message us in your Client Portal and you will receive an invoice for credit card payment. Once paid, we will update your finish(es) within the next three (3) to five (5) business days.
It’s often difficult for most people to identify their design style.
