Design Team takes on 5 shows in 1 week: #KBIS2016 #IDS16
What does a Design Team do when we're not working or playing? We go to DESIGN SHOWS all over the place. Next week Patrizia and I are off to the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the International Builders Show (IBS), International Windows Coverings Expo (ICWE) AND the International Tile & Surface Event (ITSE) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This big draw is KBIS, or kay-biss (some people say kay-biz or spell it out like kay-bee-ey-es but we don't judge them) it is the world's largest residential design show for the kitchen and bath segments of the building industry. But. You didn't read wrong. That's FOUR shows in 3 days. Just to make it interesting, I am jettisoned off to the Interior Design Show in Toronto, Ontario for a few days with the BLANCO Kitchen Design Council. Okay. FIVE shows in 4 days.
Excited to see:
AND SO MUCH MORE.

Old think verses new think, and it's hard to ignore what that our attitudes on cooking have changed.
From September 24 - 27, 2015, IDSWest will take control of Vancouver's design community and make our head's spin. There is so much happening, it's hard to keep up, but I'm announcing my speaking schedule to keep you up to date and make sure you're on time. See you there!
Like strangers in the night exchanging glances, the romanticism of de Le Cuona's fabrics were captured in my heart forever. From beautiful linens to delicate cashmere's, there is nothing that woman can not do. I am in love with Bernie de Le Cuona. There, I said it
I consider myself to be a newbie when it comes to designing steam showers. Just on one project I learned an intense amount about planning and installing one. I do not think I am an expert, but I now know a lot more than the average designer.
I have to admit. It's been 5 days back from London Design Festival and my brain is full of so much information that I don't even know where to begin. That, and the jet-leg knocked me off my feet, kind of makes me want to just curl up in a really big bathtub for days on end. So, here's a bit of Saturday bathroom porn.
I've left for London to cavort with #BlogTourLDN care of Modenus, and although I'm pretty sure there is more than just ERII as the only Queen in London Town, I do hope that I catch a passing glimpse of HRH in a car, sedan, or lorry-truck.... I'll take anything.
Please don't hate me because I'm either well connected or a "great-designer-apparent" with all this gallivanting across the globe. I really don't know how these things fall in my lap but they do and I'm not going to turn them away! That's right, more trips, more photos, more inspiration, more Instagram, and more great and cool content to bring to you. Kind of a great bunch of birthday presents!
A look back at last week's excursion into the thunderous experience that can only be described as an amazing fashion faucet brand.
