A Design Work Session

can be purchased one-time or multiple times — use as much as you need.

Let’s be clear about what you can use a Design Work Session for:

We understand that the interior design industry is often confusing from the outside looking in.

A Design Work Session is suited to consult with you on 2-3 design problems per session. If you have many complex design problems, or if you need drawings and conceptual design, you should consider one of our Online Design Packages.

While using our Design Work Sessions, we will be your professional design coach.

It’s about leveraging our nearly two decades work of professional interior design experience in both residential and commercial sectors and making sure that a design solution you could be considering will not become a costly mistake to fix later on.

During our Design Work Sessions, you will benefit from Corey’s experience as an interior design educator for 15 years working in multiple different sectors of the built environment and also leverage a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer and a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer as the expert in your corner.

Getting real about design and decorating for a moment:

If you don’t start developing a plan to resolve a design problem that you have, what other areas will it affect? Circulation? Wellness? Safety? Are you lost in the noise of home and garden reality shows? Online forums? Struggling to assess whether the advice you’re finding is authentic or just another opinion?

Receiving tangible and realistic options that you can implement on your own with the time that you have available and making a quality purchase that will last you a lifetime is a serious problem to address. No one should fall into the trap of marketing and influence to purchase 10 different couches in their lifetime, as an example.

Become confident with your design style and aesthetic choices.

Make a beneficial impact on your well being with a Design Work Session.

FAQ’s

What exactly is included in a Design Work Session?

A Design Work Session is an opportunity to work directly with a tenured professional interior designer for 60-minutes online. We can typically problem solve 2-3 different topics, but its best to discuss what you’re thinking during a complementary Discovery Call.

When are Design Work Sessions available to schedule?

You can schedule your Design Work Session during our studio hours of Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm Pacific Time. Once inside the Client Studio Portal, you will be able to view our schedule and find the best time slot for your needs. If you’re east of us, then you get the benefit of an earlier time zone.

Does a Design Work Session work with other services?

Design Work Sessions are coaching sessions to help you keep on track, so yes! It fits in nicely with any of our other services.

The Design Work Session is probably the most underutilized service by our existing clients. For example, if you’re a full-service client and we are working on a flat fee for a condo renovation design but you wanted to do all the furniture shopping yourself, a Design Work Session is a great way to get our feedback on what you’re thinking about doing without engaging with us for a change order (an increase in scope) or for additional hours.

Corey Klassen
Principal + Creative Director
Award-Winning Interior Designer
Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer
NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer

Corey found their passion for interior design early in life, but didn’t quite know the difference between “architecture” and “interior design”. It was through a side-step in classical fine-arts studies and into production design that they uncovered real interior design. With much dedication, local chapter-level leadership, faculty positions in post-secondary education and multiple international interior design awards has Corey lead Articulated Design Studio since 2011, beginning as Corey Klassen Interior Design.

Corey is inspired by their clients connections to memorable life moments, passionate careers, and their own roots from a honest and authentic farming community, generations of builders, and creative makers. Blending these elements together in new and exciting ways brings Corey’s true passion to life through interior design.
