The award was accepted by Patrizia Stirpe, AKBD and Interior Designer at the firm.

The kitchen is located in the historic Brewery Creek and is a heritage site. "We were called into this beautiful loft because the kitchen had only recirculating ventilation and the cook was tired of setting off the building's fire alarm. By adding a unique and custom drop ceiling the ventilation was added! And hey, check out all that storage." says Corey.

The kitchen features custom cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops, a relocatable stainless steel library ladder, custom roll-up storage, and painted integrated channels. The drop-ceiling was created to add needed cooking ventilation and additional lighting to the work surface. In addition, there is hidden storage, a custom upholstered dining bench seat, Italian walnut tabletop with steel legs, and, of course, polished concrete floors.
